The present invention relates to a prestretched agriculturalstretch wrap film which is used for baling applications when packaging forexample grass, maize, sugar beet pulp, malt, straw, household refuse and thelike.The prestretched agricultural stretch wrap film according to the presentinventionis produced by prestretching a polyethylene-containing co-extruded blownfilm, which comprises at least two layers joined to one another, in thelongitudinaldirection by at most 70%, so that it still retains an elongation capability inthe longitudinal direction of at least 310% or so that a force is to beexerted onsaid film of less than 6 N in order to stretch the film by 75% in thelongitudinaldirection.
