The invention relates to medicine, particularly for cardiac surgery, and allows one to explore the functional characteristics of different configurations of modeled coronary anastomosis and to determine the optimum configuration of coronary anastomosis. The invention relates to a method of modeling coronary anastomosis using the preparations of the venous vessel and the coronary artery of pigs. The diameters of venous and coronary vessels are measured with the aid of the calibrated metal probes. The venous and coronary vessels are prepared for anastomosing, the openings of the equal diameter are made, the catheter is inserted into the venous vessel； through the catheter, the fluid is administered for measuring the rate of its flow throughout the vessel； the end of the venous vessel is cut at the angle of 30°-90°； the coronary vessel is cut to the length matching that of the truncated edge of the venous vessel. End-to-side venous-coronary anastomosis is fashioned with venous intima facing arterial intima or venous adventitia facing arterial adventitia using Prolene 6-0 - 8-0 for suturing. The flow rate of the fluid through the fashioned anastomosis is measured with the aid of ultrasonic probe inserted along the metal guide through anastomosis and pulled gradually backward from coronary artery to venous vessel.
