PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which suppresses a sticky feeling of a skin due to the contact with an absorber after suctioning a body fluid.SOLUTION: An absorbent article 10 includes a liquid permeable surface sheet 14, a liquid impermeable rear surface sheet 12, and an absorber 13 arranged between the surface sheet 14 and the rear surface sheet 12. The absorbent article 10 includes: a groove part 21 the whole or a part of which is constituted of a recessed part 21r, and in which the recessed part 21r is formed by integrally joining the surface sheet 14 and the absorber 13 on a side of the surface sheet 14 of the absorbent article 10； and a flat part 24a enclosed by the groove part 21.
