An apparatus for aiding a user of a toilet in standing up, includes a movable seat movably mounted to the toilet； and a seat actuator arranged adjacent to the toilet and actuating the movable seat to move having at least one of lifting movement and pivoting movement, the seat actuator including: a base frame adjacent to and stationarily mounted to the toilet； a driver mounted to the base frame； a driving frame driven to reciprocate by the driver； and a link assembly including a first side connected to the driving frame and a second side connected to a connection link coupled to the movable seat and producing lifting movement and pivoting movement of the movable seat in accordance with reciprocation of the driving frame.
