PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bone plate receivable to stabilize a conventional head lock screw relative to the angle and axis, without an additional constitutive component.
SOLUTION: The bone plate 1 includes a lower face 2 on a bone side, an upper face 8, and a plurality of plate holes 3 for coupling the lower face 2 to the upper face 8. The plate hole 3 includes a hole axis 5, and an inner surface area 4 tapered toward the lower face 2, and the inner surface area 4 includes three or more of recesses extended from the hole axis 5 radially outward. A thread of a head part of a head lock screw inserted into the plate hole 3 rides over a thread of the plate hole 3 interrupted by the recesses, by a diagonal attitude of the head lock screw, without overlapping with the thread of the plate hole 3.
