PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning mechanism capable of constantly according their axes to predetermined central axes even if the external diameters of tubes are different, when positioning and fixing flexible tubes in predetermined attitude.
SOLUTION: A placement stand for holding flexible tubes Ta and Tb in predetermined attitude is provided with first and second tube holding means for holding the flexible tubes, and at least one of the tube holding means is formed of a pair of gripper members 42a and 42b holding to clamp the flexible tubes. The pair of gripper members have aligning mechanisms for balancing their contact forces with the flexible tubes and according the tube axes to predetermined central positions. The alignment mechanisms formed of spring mechanisms 54a and 54b urging the pair of gripper members by substantially equal spring pressures, or consists of a drive mechanism bringing the pair of gripper members closer to each other or separating from each other by same amount respectively.
