Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein härtbares und röntgensichtbares Material, einen daraus durch Polymerisation herstellbaren Werkstoff, Verfahren zur Herstellung des härtbaren Materials und des gehärteten Werkstoffs und die Verwendung des härtbaren Materials bzw. des gehärteten Werkstoffs. Das härtbare Material bzw. der gehärtete Werkstoff kann u.a. in der Orthopädie als sog. Knochenzement insbesondere aber als Zahnfüllungsmaterial, Dentalzement, dentales Unterfüllungsmaterial, fließfähiges Kompositmaterial (Flow-Material) etc. sowie in der Röntgendiagnostik eingesetzt werden.
