A headgear strap for a patient interface, the patient interface comprising a frame, the headgear strap comprising a strap (6304), wherein at least one end of the strap (6304) is terminated with a connector (6302) wherein the connector (6302) is configured to engage a side portion (1016) of the frame to connect the strap (6304) to the frame upon assembly of the interface, the connector (6302) comprising: a body (6308), the body (6308) encapsulating an end (6362) of the strap (6304)； and a metal plug portion extending from an end face of the connector (6302).
