PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sustained release of an antiinfective.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for treatment or improvement of a pulmonary infection in a cystic fibrosis patient, which above all includes a step of pulmonary administration of an effective amount of a liposomal/complex formed antiinfective. In this method, ( i ) a dosage is &le；50% of a relative free drug amount, ( ii ) a drug administration is once a day or less, or ( iii ) both ( i ) and ( ii ). Also, provided is a method for treatment or improvement of the lung infection in an animal, which includes the step of pulmonary administration of an effective amount of the liposomal/complex formed antiinfective.
