PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly fundus photographing apparatus which performs observation and photographing with a single image pickup device.SOLUTION: A fundus photographing apparatus for photographing the fundus of a subjects eye, which comprises a focusing lens movable in an optical axis direction and an image pickup device having sensitivity to both visible and infrared regions, further comprises: a fundus observation and photographing optical system which uses the image pickup device to acquire both an observation image of the fundus by light of a first wavelength and a photographed image of the fundus by light of a second wavelength different from the first wavelength focus detection means which detects a focusing state of the fundus of the subjects eye to the image pickup device by using a signal output by the image pickup device at the fundus observation by the light of the first wavelength and focus adjustment means which guides the movement of the focusing lens on the basis of a detection result of the focus detection means, and corrects the detection result of the focus detection means to move the focusing lens to an in-focus position for photographing the fundus by the light of the second wavelength.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】 一つの撮像素子で観察・撮影を行い使い勝手のよい眼底撮影装置を提供できる。【解決手段】 被検者眼眼底を撮影する眼底撮影装置において、光軸方向に移動可能なフォーカシングレンズと、可視域及び赤外域に感度を有する撮像素子とを備え、第1の波長の光による眼底観察像と第1の波長とは異なる第2の波長の光による眼底撮影像の両方を撮像素子により取得する眼底観察・撮影光学系と、撮像素子に対する被検者眼眼底のフォーカス状態を、第1の波長の光による眼底観察の際に撮像素子から出力される信号を用いて検出するフォーカス検出手段と、フォーカス検出手段の検出結果に基づいてフォーカシングレンズの移動を誘導すると共に、フォーカス検出手段の検出結果を補正して第2の波長の光による眼底撮影像の合焦位置にフォーカシングレンズを移動させるフォーカス調整手段と、を備える。【選択図】 図4
