PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massage mechanism capable of reducing the thickness in a front and rear direction of a plate type massage machine.SOLUTION: A massage mechanism 6 includes: a massage member 7 for giving a massage operation to a user U with the use of a treatment element 8 arranged at the distal end a first drive motor 12 for driving the massage member and a second drive motor 42 for generating drive force to move the massage member in a vertical direction. The first drive motor and the second drive motor are adjacently arranged. Besides, the first drive motor and the second drive motor are arranged by partial superimposition in a horizontal direction and also by partial superimposition in a front and rear direction in a bottom view.
