To provide a terminal device capable of easily improving security when wireless communication connection is performed with an electrotherapy apparatus.SOLUTION: A terminal device includes: an information storage part for storing registration information for establishing wireless communication connection with an electrotherapy apparatus； a detection part detecting a beacon signal transmitted by the electric treatment appliance； and a determination part determining whether or not there is an unregistered electrotherapy apparatus which is not registered with the terminal device among electrotherapy apparatuses on the basis of the registration information stored in the information storage part and the detected beacon signal. The determination part further determines whether or not the unregistered electrotherapy apparatus has registration information of devices other than the terminal device on the basis of the detected beacon signal in the case that unregistered electrotherapy apparatuses exist.
