PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel series of analogues of glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP), pharmaceutical compositions containing the compounds, and the use of the compounds as GIP-receptor agonists or antagonists for treatment of GIP-receptor mediated conditions, such as non-insulin dependent diabetes mellitus and obesity.SOLUTION: The present invention includes: GIP analogues with the specific amino acid sequences, compounds in which substitution or modification of at least one additional amino acid which is not the amino acid residue of the corresponding position of the native GIP, or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof； and pharmaceutical compositions containing any of the compounds for treatment of GIP-receptor binding mediated conditions or diseases.【課題】グルコース依存性インスリン分泌刺激ポリペプチド（ＧＩＰ）のアナログの新規の系列、前記化合物を含む医薬組成物、並びにＧＩＰ受容体に仲介される病気、例えばインスリン非依存性糖尿病及び肥満の処置のためのＧＩＰ受容体作動薬又は拮抗薬としての前記化合物の使用を提供する。【解決手段】特定のアミノ酸配列を有するＧＩＰのアナログ、又は、その天然のＧＩＰにおける対応する位置のアミノ酸残基ではない少なくとも１個の追加のアミノ酸の置換又は修飾を含む化合物、又はその医薬的に許容できる塩、及び、該化合物を含む、ＧＩＰ受容体の結合により仲介される病気または疾患を処置するための医薬組成物。【選択図】なし
