The invention relates to artificial baits for fishing. The fishing lure consists of a holder having a front part and a rear part which are threaded, with a gap, into two openings in a longitudinal elongate plate. A load is fixed in the front part of the holder, and a loop for a hook is provided on the rear part. Openings for fixing fishing lines which are offset towards the rear relative to the center of gravity of the fishing lure are formed in the holder. The plate, which is arranged with its longitudinal axis longitudinal to the holder, is capable of rotating about its longitudinal axis in both directions and of approaching the raised lateral parts of the plate which is rotated to the maximum extent in each direction by the same distance with respect to the vertical plane, which passes through the axis of rotation of the plate and the longitudinal axis of the holder without the lateral parts of the plate reaching this vertical plane. The invention makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of fishing owing to good flight characteristics during casting, the capacity for reaching a good depth and the effective oscillations of the fishing lure.
