PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tampon capable of being used with an easy mind at a pool, hot spring, or the like, the tampon capable of effectively inhibiting leakage of menstrual blood bypassing a tampon body even at a final stage of menstrual blood absorption as well as suppressing water infiltration from the tampons vaginal opening side.SOLUTION: A tampon 1 includes a tampon body 2 whose back end side is covered with a liquid blocking part 3 made from material blocking water, the liquid blocking part 3 being integrated with a menstrual blood reservoir 6 having a closed back end in a shape extending from a back end edge of the tampon body 2. The liquid blocking part 3 includes a body 5 that is connected, to the tampon body 2, along the circumferential direction using a bypass permission connection part 4 for permitting menstrual blood bypassing the external surface of the tampon body 2 to pass through. The tampon body 2 absorbs menstrual blood from the front end side when the menstrual blood absorption becomes close to saturation, a menstrual blood flow bypassing the external surface of the tampon body 2 flows, through the bypass permission connection part 4, into the inside of the liquid blocking parts body 5. The bypassing menstrual blood flow having flown into the liquid blocking parts body 5 reaches the back end edge of the tampon body 2 and, after then, is captured in the menstrual blood reservoir 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】 経血吸収の末期段階においてもタンポン本体を迂回する経血漏れを効果的に抑制できるとともに、かつ膣口側からの水の浸透を抑制し、プールや温泉などでも安心して使用できるタンポンを提供する。【解決手段】 タンポン1においては、水分を遮断する材料からなる液遮断部3によりタンポン本体2の後端側を覆われ、その液遮断部3には、タンポン本体2の後端縁から延出する形で後端が閉鎖された経血溜め部6が一体化されている。液遮断部3の本体5は、タンポン本体2の外面を迂回する経血の通過を許容する迂回許容結合部4によりタンポン本体2に対し周方向に沿って結合される。タンポン本体2は前端側から経血を吸収するとともに、経血吸収が飽和に近づいた場合は、タンポン本体2の外周面を迂回する経血流が迂回許容結合部4を通過して遮断部本体5の内部に流れ込む。遮断部本体5に流れ込んだ迂回経血流はタンポン本体2の後端縁に達した後、経血溜め部6に捕捉される。【選択図】図1
