PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizer capable of simplifying and miniaturizing a constitution while improving the sterilizing effect.
SOLUTION: This sterilizer is provided with a holding means C capable of holding a sterilization object P, a sterilizing means which applies a ray or an electron beam toward the sterilization object P to sterilize it, and an attitude change means which can freely change the attitude to an application attitude where the application direction of the sterilizing means faces the sterilization object P and a non-application attitude where the application direction of the sterilizing means is taken off from the sterilization object P.
