PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanical switch device for allowing a storage structure to be compact and performing a switch operation by the manipulation with a thumb of a gripping hand.
SOLUTION: The folded elastic piece 43 of a battery plus terminal metallic fitting 40 and the projection 52 of a motor plus terminal metallic fitting 50 are oppositely positioned in the switch device. The device includes an insulating switch operation part 80 which is rockable and has a partition wall 84 interposed in a middle part between the folded elastic piece 43 and the projection 52. The partition wall 84 includes: a through-hole H, to which the projection 52 is fitted, on the proximal part side and a blind hole h, to which the projection 52 is fitted, on the distal end side.
