PURPOSE: A near-field communication method and a glucose meter using the same are provided to save the manufacturing costs without additional power consumptions and separate time for setting communication.CONSTITUTION: A glucose meter(100) comprises a glucose measuring unit, a communication unit, and a control unit. The blood glucose measuring unit is used for measuring blood glucose and converts the measured blood glucose into a bit string. The communication unit generates a magnetic field by responding to the bit string, and transfers the magnetic field to a mobile communication device with a display unit and a magnetic sensor.
