PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of any gap between a bed side rail device and a head board that may cause a danger to catch the body of a patient lying on the bed, and also reduce the rattles of the bed side rail device.SOLUTION: The insertion type bed side rail device includes a structure that a support bar 4 is provided protruding from the bottom of the side rail 3, and also an insertion support 5 is provided at the side face of the bed 1 to receive the support bar when it is inserted into the insertion support 5.
