PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter which is structured so that a tray is hardly displaced to achieve stable longitudinal feed, flexibility in design of a tray feeding device including a longitudinal feed mechanism is expanded and a plant to be transplanted is reliably held in a planting device to improve its planting attitude.SOLUTION: A transplanter includes: a swing link 310 vertically operating a planting device 11 for planting a plant to be transplanted into a field, on a prescribed operation track and planting-device opening/closing mechanisms 322, 1014, 1015L, 1015R, 1340 and 1350 opening or closing the lower part of the planting device 11. The transplanter is structured as follows: the lower part of the planting device 11 opens to an opening extent to which the plant to be transplanted can be transplanted at a bottom dead point or in the vicinity of the bottom dead point on the operation track, by the operations of the planting device opening/closing mechanisms 322, 1014, 1015L, 1015R, 1340 and 1350, opens more slightly than the opening extent at a stop position for receiving the plant to be transplanted, and closes in the midst of descending to the bottom dead point or the vicinity of the bottom dead point from the stop position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】 トレイがずれにくく安定した縦送りを実現し、縦送り機構を含むトレイ供給装置の設計の自由度を拡大すると共に、植付具内で移植物を確実に保持して植付姿勢を良好にする移植機を提供すること。【解決手段】 移植物を圃場に植え付ける植付具11を所定の作動軌跡で上下方向に作動させる揺動リンク310と、植付具11の下部を開閉させる植付具開閉機構322、1014、1015L、1015R、1340、1350を備える移植機において、植付具開閉機構322、1014、1015L、1015R、1340、1350の動作により、植付具11の下部が、作動軌跡における下死点又は下死点近傍で移植物を圃場に植付可能な開き度合いまで開き、移植物を受け取る停止位置では、開き度合いより小さく開いており、停止位置から下死点又は下死点近傍へ下降する途中で閉じる構成とする。【選択図】 図14
