PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus which can restrain an eddy current and a residual magnetic field from being generated by a leak magnetic field in the generation of a gradient magnetic field, while suppressing a decrease in generation efficiency of the gradient magnetic field, and which can obtain a proper image.SOLUTION: An MRI apparatus includes a magnetic member 31.
