PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel method for producing an extract from adlay containing physiologically active ingredients.SOLUTION: The method for producing an extract from adlay containing physiologically active ingredients comprises an extracting step of carrying out extraction using an extracting solvent corresponding to the part of adlay. In the extraction step, the parts is a shell, a thin skin, or an astringent inner skin.
