The purpose of the present invention is to provide a novel composition for sympathetic nerve activation. According to the present invention, provided is a composition for sympathetic nerve activation which comprises polyphenols as active ingredients. The polyphenols contain 25 mass% or more of polyphenol monomers to tetramers. The polyphenol monomers to tetramers comprise at least catechin, epicatechin, procyanidin B2, procyanidin B5, procyanidin C1 and cinnamtannin A2.
