According to the present invention, there is provided a composition of bioadhesive comprising: a combination of tannic acid and polyethylene glycol； and stabilizers； wherein the stabilizers are selected from the group consisting of soy and carrageenan. This bioadhesive can be used as an alternative but not limited thereto a reinforcement in a surgical procedure but not limited thereto an anastomosis techniques.
