PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-concentration orotic acid solution excellent in the solubility and the storage stability of orotic acid even containing orotic acid at a high concentration； and a method for manufacturing an orotic acid-containing beverage in which orotic acid can be easily dissolved even when blended at a high concentration, causing no sedimentation or deposition during storage, without impairing the taste and flavor inherent to the beverage.SOLUTION: Orotic acid is dissolved in a high-concentration carnitine solution, so that a high-concentration orotic acid solution including orotic acid in a range of 1.2 to 25 mass% and carnitine in a range of 1.44 to 80 mass%, with a mass ratio of orotic acid to carnitine of 1:1.2 to 1:10 is prepared. The high-concentration orotic acid solution is added to a beverage, so that an orotic acid-containing beverage is manufactured.【課題】オロト酸を高濃度で含有してもオロト酸の溶解性や保存安定性に優れた高濃度オロト酸溶液や、オロト酸を高濃度で配合しても、オロト酸が容易に溶解し、保存中に沈殿や析出がなく、しかも飲料本来の食味や風味を損ねることないオロト酸含有飲料の製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】オロト酸を高濃度カルニチン溶液に溶解し、オロト酸を１．２～２５質量％、及びカルニチンを１．４４～８０質量％の範囲で、かつ、オロト酸とカルニチンを質量比で１：１．２～１：１０で含む高濃度オロト酸溶液を調製する。この高濃度オロト酸溶液を飲料に添加することにより、オロト酸含有飲料を製造する。【選択図】なし
