PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a zymolytic peptide of an elastin obtained by using a pig aorta blood vessel as a raw material, and a method for preparing a pig aorta blood vessel-origin elastin and its zymolytic peptide.
SOLUTION: The elastin zymolytic peptide of this invention originates in a pig aorta blood vessel, and the amino acid composition can be made into one similar to a human elastin. Further, a pig aorta blood vessel exists abundantly as a raw material, and since it is discarded conventionally, it is advantageous in cost. Moreover, the method of this invention for preparing the elastin and the zymolytic peptide is a method in which the elastin and its zymolytic peptide are prepared efficiently from a pig aorta blood vessel.
