The electronic walking stick of the invention comprises a handgrip, a conduit and a rolling means, where the handgrip is located at the upper portion of the stick and is formed by two symmetric parts that form a cavity the inner portion of said cavity includes the coupling of at least a buzzer, at least a vibrator for indicating the user the proximity of an object, a light device for other pedestrians to identify the position of the user and the rolling means, which is formed by a wheel, also including an energy generator and a band to be self-recharged for being operated. The operation software is contained in a microcontroller.El bastón guía electrónico que se presenta comprende un mango, un conducto y el rodamiento, en donde el mango se encuentra en la parte superior del bastón y está conformado de dos partes simétricas que forman una cavidad, en el interior de dicha cavidad se ensamblan al menos un zumbador de sonido, al menos un motor vibrador para indicar al usuario la proximidad de un objeto, un dispositivo de iluminación para que otro transeúnte identifique la posición del usuario y el rodamiento se compone de una rueda, un generador de energía y una banda que permiten la autorecarga de energía para el funcionamiento del aparato. El programa para su funcionamiento está contenido en un microcontrolador.
