PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bush cutter for clearing plants with excellent operability.SOLUTION: The bush cutter includes a main pole a cutting blade provided at the front end of the main pole a motor provided at the rear end of the main pole to drive the cutting blade and a handle provided in an intermediate position of the main pole. The handle has a grip to be gripped by a user. The bush cutter further includes a driving switch for driving the cutting blade a speed regulating switch for regulating the rotating speed of the cutting blade and a protective switch operated to release the mechanical lock of the driving switch.
