PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an absorbent body which controls the basis weight of an absorbent body for an absorbent article to be a desired basis weight without measuring wind velocity in a duct.SOLUTION: A method for producing an absorbent body 2 employs: a rotary drum 3 at the outer peripheral surface 3f of which an accumulation recessed part 31 for accumulating raw material for the absorbent body 2 is provided a duct 4 which conveys the raw material for the absorbent body 2 in dispersion condition toward the outer peripheral surface 3f of the rotary drum 3 and a crusher 5 for crushing fibrous material 25 to supply the material into the duct 4. The duct 4 has a pressure sensor 9 for measuring static pressure in the duct 4. A method for producing the absorbent body 2 controls the basis weight of the absorbent body 2 to be a desired basis weight on the basis of the value of the static pressure in the duct 4 measured with the pressure sensor 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】ダクト内の風速を測定することなく、吸収性物品用の吸収体を所望の坪量に制御できる吸収体の製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明の吸収体2の製造方法は、吸収体2の原料を集積する集積用凹部31を外周面3fに有する回転ドラム3と、回転ドラム3の外周面3fに向けて吸収体2の原料を飛散状態にて搬送するダクト4と、ダクト4内に繊維材料25を粉砕して供給する粉砕機5とを用いて行う。ダクト4は、ダクト4内の静圧を測定する圧力センサー9を有する。本発明の吸収体2の製造方法は、圧力センサー9で測定されたダクト4内の静圧の値に基づいて吸収体2の坪量を所望の坪量に制御する。【選択図】図6
