The present disclosure relates to herbal composition with anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and anti-pyretic properties for alleviation of arthritis and gout. The disclosed herbal composition can be taken orally or applied topically and is capable of controlling inflammation, pain, high body temperature and reducing associated complications of arthritis. In an aspect, the disclosed herbal composition can include an effective amount of Jurinea ceratocarpa herb and at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient. The present disclosure further provides a process for preparing a herbal composition useful in effective treatment and management of arthritis, gout and associated complications.
