PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a surface of an article can be sterilized in a short time.SOLUTION: In a sterilization method of an article surface, a nebulant containing droplets which are finely divided from a solution comprising a sterilizing agent and a solvent having a lower boiling point than that of the sterilizing agent, include a solute and the solvent and are suspended in a gas is formed. By removing the solvent vaporized by applying energy for vaporizing the solvent from a gas stream, the concentration of the sterilizing agent in nebulant particles is increased.
