The aim of the present invention is to provide an improved wearing article which is not easily torn and makes it possible to see the skin of an article wearer through. The wearing article includes a belt member 4 constituting front and back waist areas and a liquid absorbing structure 5 constituting a crotch area, wherein the belt member 4 is provided with a waist side opening edge 19 comprising two segments of the front and back waist areas separately facing the anteroposterior direction Y. The front and back belt parts 6 and 7 of the belt member 4 include see-through possible areas where all light beam transmissivity is 55% or more in the front and back waist areas 1 and 2 and the skin of the article wearer is seen through, the see-through possible areas occupy 40% or more of the front and back waist areas 1 and 2. A reinforcing elastic member 35 to the front and back belt members 6 and 7 is attached in the width direction X along the waist side opening edge 19.
