A food or drink containing one or more kinds of dietary fiber components selected from the group consisting of xanthan gum, glucomannan and gellan gum, which is a drink containing at least 0.3 g/100 ml of the dietary fiber component and at least 3.0 g/100 ml of alanine, or a solid or semisolid food containing at least 0.3 g of the dietary fiber component and at least 3.0 g of alanine.
