PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a neovascularization inhibitor containing melanoidin as an active ingredient, which is contained in a fermented essence obtained by the symbiotic fermentation of a natural raw material with lactic acid bacteria and yeast.SOLUTION: The neovascularization inhibitor includes the melanoidin as an active ingredient, which is contained in the fermented essence of polysaccharides, vegetables and fruits, and seaweeds with lactic acid bacteria and yeast. The melanoidin contained in the fermented essence, obtained by fermenting brown rice as the polysaccharides, papaya as the vegetables and fruits, and sea tangle and Nemacystus decipiens as the seaweeds for six months with the lactic acid bacteria and the yeast, and removing the microbial cells, has the neovascularization inhibiting effect of 1.5 times as high as that of suramin.
