An object of the present invention is to provide a novel drug for the treatment of cancer and a method for the treatment thereof.This object can be attained by a retinoid- containing targeting agent to a cell selected from the group consisting of a cancer cell and a cancer- associated fibroblast, a substance delivery carrier to the cell, the carrier containing the targeting agent, an anticancer composition, an anti-cancer-associated fibroblast composition, and a cancer treatment method utilizing the targeting agent or the carriet.本發明的課題為提供一種新型癌症治療藥物及治療法。上述課題藉由:含有類視色素且針對由癌細胞及腫瘤相關纖維母細胞所組成之群中選出之細胞之標靶藥劑、含有上述標靶藥劑且用於上述細胞之物質傳輸攜帶體(carrier)、利用上述標靶藥劑或攜帶體之抗癌組成物及抗腫瘤相關纖維母細胞組成物,及癌症治療法來解決。
