The present invention relates to a portable manual type lawn trimmer, and more specifically, to the portable manual type lawn trimmer which can achieve simplification of components and lightweightness of a device through structure improvement of a front end part of a work table where a cutter cutting weeds or scrub is mounted, and also can be driven and used anytime and anywhere by generating self power by a user manual operation. According to the present invention, the portable manual type lawn trimmer includes: the work table which has a fixed length and is length-adjustable, so that a user can trim the weeds easily by holding the lawn trimmer by hands as walking standing up； the cutter which receives the power under the state of being mounted on the front end part of the work table, and cuts the weeds or the scrub grown from the ground； a power device which generates the power delivered to the cutter by being connected to the work table, and can generate self power in accordance with a fixed arm swing action of the user； and a support part which enables the user to fix the power device and to bear the lawn trimmer on a part of the body of the user.본 발명은 휴대형 수동 예초기에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 잡초나 잡목을 절단하는 커터가 장착되는 작업대 선단부의 구조개선을 통해 부품의 간소화 및 기기의 경량화를 달성한 한편 사용자 수동조작(manual operation)에 의한 자가동력의 생성을 통해 언제 어느 때라도 즉시 구동 및 사용이 가능할 수 있도록 한 휴대형 수동 예초기에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따르면, 사용자가 손으로 부여잡고 선 채로 보행하며 풀베기가 수월토록 일정길이를 가지며 길이조절이 가능한 작업대； 상기 작업대 선단부에 장착된 상태로 동력을 이어받아 자전함에 의해, 지면으로부터 자라난 잡초나 잡목을 베어낼 수 있게 된 커터； 상기 작업대에 연결하여 상기 커터로 이어지는 동력생성을 위하되, 사용자의 정해진 팔 스윙 행위에 따른 자가동력의 생성이 가능한 동력장치； 및, 상기 동력장치를 올려놓고 고정시킨 상태로, 사용자 자신의 신체의 일부분에 의지시켜 짊어질 수 있게 한 지지부를 포함하여 구성된 것을 특징으로 한다.
