PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an onion processing apparatus capable of reducing the load on a worker and improving processing efficiency.SOLUTION: The onion processing apparatus 1 includes conveyance means 2 to convey onions, and the conveyance means 2 includes a definite amount delivery portion 11, a conveyance portion 12, a lift conveyance portion 13, and a chute 14. The onion processing apparatus 1 conveys an onion received from the conveyance means 2, changes the attitude of the onion to direct stem and leaf parts downward in the course of conveyance, and cuts the stem and leaf parts of the attitude-changed onion by first cutting means 21. The onion processing apparatus 1 further includes second cutting means 22 to convey the onion received from the first cutting means 21 and cut the stem and leaf parts and the root part of the onion in the course of conveyance.
