PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for cleaning and keeping (maintaining) a medical hand-held instrument, especially a dental hand-held instrument (2).SOLUTION: A hand-held instrument presents a slender grip sleeve (4), and an element (6) is disposed in association with a driver in the grip sleeve, especially supported rotatably, so that a gas-like, preferably aseptic or pure media are propelled and guided by surplus pressure through a power transmission area (10") surrounding an element of the driver.
