An electric wheelchair, according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a traveling unit including a plurality of traveling wheels; a seat unit including a seat frame and a seat pad; a backrest unit including a backrest frame connected to the seat frame, and a backrest pad; a driving unit including a motor providing power; and an elevating unit adjusting the height of the seat unit. The elevating unit includes: a first shaft member capable of rotating in the axial direction; a first screw formed on the outer circumferential surface of the first shaft member and having a spiral formed from one end toward a center portion of the first shaft member in a first rotational direction; a second screw formed on the outer circumferential surface of the first shaft member and having a spiral formed from the other end toward the center portion of the first shaft member in a second rotational direction; a first nut coupled to the first screw; a second nut coupled to the second screw; a first support member having one end rotatably connected to the seat frame and the other end rotatably connected to the first nut; and a second support member having one end rotatably connected to the seat frame and the other end rotatably connected to the second nut.
