PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood purifier and a central monitoring system having the same, enabling a person engaged with medical treatment such as a doctor to quickly and accurately grasp an addition or a change of patient information when the patient information is added or changed on the central monitoring device side during the blood purifying treatment.SOLUTION: This central monitoring system includes: receiving means 4 connected to a central monitoring device K holding patient information on a patient and receiving the patient information transmitted from the central monitoring device K display means 2 caused to make a predetermined display related to the blood purifying treatment and displaying the patient information received by the receiving means 4 determining means 3 for determining whether or not the patient information received by the receiving means 4 is new patient information added or changed during the blood purifying treatment and notifying means 7 for performing predetermined notification on condition that the receipt of new patient information by the receiving means 4 is determined by the determining means 3.
