The present invention relates to a vertical crop cultivation apparatus. According to the present invention, a work box can be lifted and lowered, and thus work is facilitated. In addition, the work box is tiltable, and thus it is possible to increase the efficiency of light use of a crop that is cultivated. The vertical crop cultivation apparatus includes a pair of frames, a pair of upper rotating sprockets, a pair of lower rotating sprockets, a pair of rotating chains, a cultivation box, a first upper main tilting sprocket, a first lower main tilting sprocket, and a first tilting chain. The frames face each other at a predetermined distance. The upper rotating sprockets are individually and rotatably fastened to the upper portions of the frames. The lower rotating sprockets are individually and rotatably fastened to the lower portions of the frames. The rotating chains are individually wound around the upper rotating sprockets and the lower rotating sprockets. The cultivation box is disposed between the frames. The cultivation box includes a pair of shafts and a sub tilting sprocket. The shafts individually protrude toward the frames and are individually and rotatably fastened to the rotating chains. The sub tilting sprocket is fixed to one or both of the shafts. The first upper main tilting sprocket is rotatably fastened to the upper portion of the frame. The first lower main tilting sprocket is rotatably fastened to the lower portion of the frame.
