PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and compactly dispose an exhaust emission control device 65 in an engine 20 itself or in the vicinity thereof in a combine harvester.SOLUTION: A combine harvester includes: a travelling vehicle body 1 horizontally mounted with a threshing device 5 and a grain tank 7； and an engine 20 mounted under an operating section 10 located on the front side of the grain tank 7 with an engine output shaft 83 directed in the horizontal direction of the travelling vehicle body 1. The combine harvester is provided with an exhaust emission control device 65 for purifying exhaust gas from the engine 20. The exhaust emission control device 65 is long in a direction intersecting with the engine output shaft 83 in a planar view. The exhaust gas discharge side of the exhaust emission control device 65 is directed to a portion between the threshing device 5 and the grain tank 7.【課題】コンバインにおいて、排気ガス浄化装置６５をエンジン２０自体又はその近傍に効率よくコンパクトに配置できるようにする。【解決手段】本願発明のコンバインは、脱穀装置５及びグレンタンク７が横並び状に搭載された走行機体１と、グレンタンク７前側にある操縦部１０の下方に、エンジン出力軸８３を走行機体１の左右方向に向けた状態で搭載されたエンジン２０とを備える。エンジン２０からの排気ガスを浄化処理する排気ガス浄化装置６５を備える。排気ガス浄化装置６５は平面視でエンジン出力軸８３と交差する方向に長い形態にする。排気ガス浄化装置６５の排気ガス排出側を脱穀装置５とグレンタンク７との間に向ける。【選択図】図６
