PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging system automatically and adequately preventing radiation imaging from being performed by using an improper cassette in such a case that serial imaging or movie shooting is set up by an operator, in such a case that serial imaging of movie shooting is set up by an operator, in an environment ready to capture images by inserting either a CR cassette or an FPD cassette into the same bucky device.SOLUTION: The radiation imaging system 1 includes: a radiation generator 4 a bucky device 3 a portable FPD cassette 2a ready to serially image a target object in a loaded state on the bucky device 3 or independently and having a communication means a detection means for detecting that the portable FPD cassette 2a is loaded on the bucky device 3 and warning means 10, 31 sending out a warning.
