The purpose of the present invention is to reduce the burden on a subject having an eye-to-be-inspected and observe the interior of the eye-to-be-inspected across a wide range. An optical system (28A) is provided with a reflective mirror unit (280) which forms an image of an eye-to-be-inspected (12) by arranging two concave mirrors to face each other on the eye-to-be-inspected (12) side which is an upstream side of a first optical unit (281) and a second optical unit (282) capable of observing a peripheral visual field deviating from the axis of the eye. The reflective mirror unit (280) has a conjugate relationship with a focus on one side and a focus on the other side. Thus, the image of the eye-to-be-inspected (12) is formed by the reflective mirror unit (280), so that the distance between the eye-to-be-inspected (12) and the optical system (28A) can be guaranteed and the eye-to-be-inspected can be observed across a wide range.本發明減輕對具有被檢眼之對象者的負擔,並且於廣範圍內觀察被檢眼內。光學系統(28A)於可觀察遠離視軸之周邊視野的第1光學單元(281)及第2光學單元(282)之上游側即被檢眼(12)側,具備以使2個凹面鏡彼此面對之方式對向配置而形成被檢眼(12)之像之反射鏡單元(280)。反射鏡單元(280)由於一者之焦點與另一者之焦點具有共軛關係,故而藉由利用反射鏡單元(280)來形成被檢眼(12)之像,可確保被檢眼(12)與光學系統(28A)之距離,且可於廣範圍內觀察被檢眼。
