PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus and its control method for enabling a user to confirm a state of an object to be inspected through one image and easily grasp a correlation between a bone and a soft tissue at the same time by outputting the bone and the soft tissue to the one image in acquiring an X-ray image of the bone and the soft tissue by using X-rays having energy levels different from each other.SOLUTION: The X-ray imaging apparatus includes: an X-ray generation part for generating X-rays to irradiate the X-rays to an object to be inspected； a detection part for detecting the X-rays irradiated by the X-ray generation part and transmitting the object to be inspected； and a host device for acquiring an image from the X-rays detected by the detection part, respectively acquiring image information to a bone and a soft tissue of the object to be inspected on the basis of the acquired X-ray image, and generating and outputting one image including image information of the bone and the soft tissue.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】互いに異なるエネルギーレベルを有するＸ線を用いて骨と軟組織のＸ線映像を獲得するにおいて、骨と軟組織を一つの映像に出力することによって、使用者が、一つの映像を通して被検査体の状態を確認できると同時に、骨と軟組織との間の相関関係を容易に把握できるようにするＸ線映像装置及びその制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】Ｘ線を発生させ、被検査体にＸ線を照射するＸ線発生部と、前記Ｘ線発生部によって照射されて前記被検査体を透過したＸ線を検出する検出部と、前記検出部によって検出されたＸ線から映像を獲得し、前記獲得されたＸ線映像に基づいて前記被検査体の骨と軟組織に対する映像情報をそれぞれ獲得し、前記骨と軟組織の映像情報を含む一つの映像を生成して出力するホスト装置と、を含んでＸ線映像装置を構成する。【選択図】図１
