PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental mechanic working model and a support base used therefor, capable of improving an engagement strength between a fixing plate and the support base in the horizontal direction.SOLUTION: A dental mechanic working model includes a plaster-made fixing plate 6K, dowel pins 8 having an approximately circular cross-section and arranged on the lower surface of the fixing plate, and a synthetic resin-made support base 10K. On the support base, there are provided dowel pin insertion holes 18 having an approximately circular cross-section and protrusions 86K having an approximately rectangular shape in a planar view. The protrusions are aligned so that a longitudinal direction thereof are adjacent to each other and arranged by twos or threes on each side of the insertion hole for a space between each pair of the adjacent insertion holes, approximately horizontally with an alignment direction of the insertions holes at positions inside both side edges of the support base.
