PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a respiration estimating device for estimating a respiratory depth, and also to provide a respiration estimating method and a respiration estimating program.SOLUTION: The respiration estimating device detects the pulse waves of a human body, based on the amount of change of light detected by an optical sensor, and converts the pulse waves into electric signals. The device also performs n-th order differential (n is a natural number) with respect to the electric signals which are converted by a pulse wave detecting part, and identifies a plurality of feature points by each pulse wave, based on n-th order differential waveforms being the waveforms obtained as the result of the n-th order differential. The device also calculates the amount of change of amplitude by each identified feature point, and estimates the respiratory depth, based on the amount of change calculated by each feature point.COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT【課題】呼吸の深さを推定すること。【解決手段】呼吸推定装置は、光センサから検出された光の変化量に基づいて、人体の脈波を検出し、脈波を電気信号に変換する。また、呼吸推定装置は、脈波検出部によって変換された電気信号に対してn次微分(nは自然数)を実行し、n次微分の結果得られた波形であるn次微分波形から、脈波ごとに複数の特徴点を識別する。呼吸推定装置は、識別した複数の特徴点ごとに振幅の変化量を算出する。また、呼吸推定装置は、特徴点ごとに算出された変化量に基づいて、呼吸の深さを推定する。【選択図】図1
