An apparatus and method of displaying an ultrasound image are disclosed, wherein ultrasound data regarding a target object including a blood vessel (300) is obtained. The data may include Doppler data. Blood flow velocities (V1, V2) passing through a plurality of cross-sections (301, 302) of the blood vessel are determined, and stenosis degrees of the plurality of cross-sections are determined based on the blood flow velocities and a continuity equation. The cross-section with the slowest blood flow velocity may be assumed to be free of plaque and may be selected as a reference cross-section. An ultrasound image is generated and displayed, which shows the determined stenosis degrees.
