A needle (1) for collecting living cell that is to be used for collecting an oocyte or ovum from human ovary, said needle (1) being provided with: a hollow needle (20) comprising a hollow body part (21), a hollow small-diameter front end part (22) which extends from the hollow body part (21) toward the front end side, a tapered part (25) which is located between the hollow small-diameter front end part (22) and the hollow body part (21) and the diameter of which is reduced toward the front end, and a needle point (24) for puncturing which is formed on the front end of the hollow small-diameter front end part (22) a hub (30) which is fixed to the rear end part of the hollow body part (21) of the hollow needle (20) an inner tube (11) which is housed within the hollow needle (20), the front end of which is located within the tapered part (25) or the front end part of the hollow body part (21), and the rear end part of which penetrates through the hub (30) and is fixed to the hub (30) and a tube (41) for aspirating living cell which is connected to the rear end part of the inner tube (11). The rear end of the hollow needle (20) is located within the hub (30). The needle (1) for collecting living cell is provided with a side tube (53), the front end part of said side tube (53) being located within the hub (30) and communicating with the inside of the hollow needle (20) and the rear end part thereof protruding from the hub (30) and being liquid-tightly fixed to the hub (30).
