A medical image inquiry system is provided to inquire the medical image on a real time basis under low efficiency network environment. A data processing unit(20) receives video data from a medical image equipment(10). The DB information corresponding to the video data is transmitted to an external DB server(60) of local area through a communications network. A local image storage(30) is connected to the data processing unit through a local network. The video data is received from the data processing unit and is stored. A user terminal(50) is connected to the local image storage and local network.
